it's not life that matters but the journey...

just in case anyone out there wonders, I'm still alive. I'm just dead tired. and this week wasn't even as bad as next week will be (at my workplace). the bosses will be out of the office all week and one of them called me and Nikki in today and basically said "overtime is approved so I expect you to stay over and get things caught up." mmmmmkay. I already anticipate the stress. *sigh* the only good thing is that I will get paid for the overtime - time and a half. so my measly salary will become unmeasly after 8 hours have passed. *sigh*

but it's friday so I shouldn't worry about it now. I hope to have a nice weekend (after I clean my apartment and sleep). my husband has quit his band gig, so we will be together. yay. but that's it for my update - I'm too tired for anything more, and my tummy hurts, so off to bed I go.

I watched two movies this week: "In the Company of Men" (very dark, depressing as hell, but interesting); and "Laura" with Gene Tierney (awesome classic film noir - wish I hadn't fallen asleep at the end - I will be watching again tomorrow)...
