it's not life that matters but the journey...

hmmm... last week at this time it was about 50 degrees even at night. now it's about 7. seriously! and that beautiful snow? it's still on the ground, but it's turned to ice, and it's dangerous. I'm thinking of buying some big snow boots and wearing them every day from now on. I don't want to fall and break my leg - I can't afford hospital bills now and I don't want the drama of suing my apartment building.

anyway, I know I owe tons of replies, and I've been bad at commenting to journals. I'm just dreadfully tired. I'm working overtime this week to make up the lost snow day Friday - so last night I got home at almost 7 p.m. and then had to cook and do dishes. tonight I got home at 6 p.m. tomorrow??? and I need to pay bills. I need another snow day (ha, but then I couldn't pay the bills- what a vicious circle).

I've knitted 7 rows of the blanket for my nephew. boy it's slow going - Maybe I might finish it by the time he's in kindgarten - haha! I'm catching up over the weekend, and hopefully going to the little knitting group Friday for some pointers. I just need like a half day to do nothing but knit. then maybe I'll get some progress. it's so fun though!

well that's all for now. I need sleep. I'm sure there are other things I want to write about, but I can't think of them now.
