I just want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday wherever you are! Just remember to take time out to stop and enjoy what you have, and be blessed by your family and friends and health. I wish I had my family around this Christmas, but luckily I will go and visit them on January 11th, for about six days. that's what I'm looking forward to now. plus I'm looking forward to a new year - I really have a lot of things that need to be started over, completely. I hope that this next year will bring me much more happiness than 2006, which was for the most part forgettable and depressing!

thanks to the wonderful pnksaph for the holiday card I got in the mail Friday! I got more cards this year than any other - I feel so loved!!

we went out to a cute little town called Geneva yesterday - but it was too cold outside to really walk around so we didn't stay long. we did have some hot cocoa in a cute little coffee shop, and did a little shopping, and it was nice to see another place I've never been. on the way back we stopped along the Fox River to enjoy the quiet and nature.

today is a gorgeous day - sunny, but still cold. unfortunately I don't want to really go anywhere because of the crowds though. we might venture out a little, but not for long.

i know everyone's busy, but I do hope to hear from you all in the next week or so! enjoy your holiday, be warm, happy, safe, and happy!
