Can you please slow down and give me a break? I mean really, I need some time to relax a bit, get caught up on my friends' lives, post some pictures, write some cards to my family, read a book, watch a movie (that I've had from netflix for over a month), get to bed before midnight, perhaps? But no, you just keep throwing stuff for me to do: fixing cars, paying bills, attending weddings (and buying proper wedding attire and presents, etc.), organizing, shopping, figuring out what to eat with a bad stomach (which has been this way for about a week now), keeping my home clean (by the way, it's currently not clean at all), etc....
why did you throw so many fun things at us in one month? In July we had NOTHING to do! but in August there has been something each week: a family reunion in Oregon, a wedding of a good friend 40 miles away, a company outing to the race track next weekend, the Jazz festival (with two major acts, on different nights the last weekend in August - downtown!), M's birthday, plus the registration and beginning of school for both of us. And on top of that, then you throw in radiator problems with our Jeep! kthanks!
so, life, I will blame you if my friends think I'm a total flake and haven't written, called, replied to posts, or even posted an update or pics from my trip. I have good intentions, but you make me look so bad.
*sigh*
as you see, I didn't post pictures yesterday as I had planned. at 10 p.m. last night I was still uploading to photobucket. this last weekend went by so fast I didn't even feel it. we left at noon on Saturday for the wedding of M's surfing friend, Andrew. it was 43 miles away. it took almost 2 hours to get there. We got back home, after the wedding and reception, at 11 p.m. Sunday was spent running around all day doing laundry, returning clothes to the mall that didn't fit, buying stuff, organizing my closet...no time for LJ or even for cleaning my bathroom or kitchen.
my plan was to post pics and a recap of my family reunion tonight - but we'll see how that goes. I have to help my husband with his Jeep, and go food shopping, and then cook dinner... oh and my cousin's birthday is Wednesday - did I get a card in the mail? of course not.
stop the world - I want to get off... preferably somewhere that i can just sit by the beach with a book and a cold drink. Please?
