laurainlimbo at 05:43pm on 27/02/2009 under esperanza spaldingI just discovered this fantastically amazingly talented jazz musician named Esperanza Spalding - she's from Portland, Oregon and her CD was released last year (I believe).
I had heard one of her songs on a Paste CD, and then I saw her perform last night on Obama's White House tribute to Stevie Wonder. She is unbelievable - gorgeous, and such an advanced talent -and she's only 23!
