we recently started using a "time clock" at work rather than just writing in our time on a sheet. but in the meantime, they are using both the clock and the sheets. so my times probably aren't matching exactly. I'm a salaried employee, not hourly - so I thought a few minutes here and there didn't matter. but this morning my boss looks at my time sheet and asks me "do you get here every morning at 8:30?" so I said, well maybe I get here about 8:34 or 8:35 - it's different every day. (today it was 8:37 - I was running really late)... He then tells me to be sure to get here on time, and to write down the exact time I arrive on the sheet. Geez, I've been here since June of last year, and no one has ever cared if I was a few minutes late - never until they started monitoring it with the time clocks! and I absolutely NEVER clock out at exactly 5 p.m. - usually it's a few minutes or as much as 10 minutes after. This just makes me realize how much I hate working in this office. I hate being a slave to a clock!!
and speaking of clocks...this is going to be a very long long day.
I've honestly got nothing to do at work, and it's only 10:48 a.m.
plus I am waiting to talk to my doctor about the MRI - I can't think of much else right now.
