This is my last entry with free internet! I'm moving out of my sister's house today officially and into my apartment - with no internet ... yet! hopefully tomorrow or Friday. So you won't see me for a few days, sadly.
I had an interview today for a job I really want. But it seems that if this job doesn't work out, I do have a temp to possibly permanent job starting on the 14th. It's a data entry job, fairly decent pay, pretty easy, and in a good location (except that I might have to pay for parking, or take the train). The only drawback is that the hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and it might include weekends. And the concept of taking the train at 6 a.m isn't appealing. We'll see what I can do for driving there. But I'm hesitant to turn it down, since I need to put something on my resume. I can always keep looking for the perfect job! Also, I will need to quit tutoring - which I regret since it will be hard to find a replacement for them, considering their needs and hours. But that's another reason I need to quit - as much as I like teaching, the commute is too far, and it's burning me out. I need to think of my self. I've taken the last two days off for moving and I'm not missing it. I wish I liked teaching these kids better, but sadly I don't.
Well I guess I'd better go and drive back to my own place and make my own dinner. That will be a new experience too! No tv, no internet... what will I do with myself??
Wish me luck. I'll be around soon!
