I guess my post yesterday was a bit confusing - I was thinking mostly about leaving Facebook since I really don't like it much, and no one would miss me if I left there. But I'm definitely not going to leave Live Journal. I've been here for a long time, and even though some of my closest friends have disappeared, and others don't post or reply as often, I still feel like a part of myself would be gone if I left Live Journal. I'd miss lots of people too. And I guess you'd miss me too - aww, thanks!! Sometimes I do yearn for days when things were simpler though - when email was the only method of online communication, and when people wrote letters. I have promised to send letters out to some of my LJ friends, and perhaps I should do that! After all, I have time.
today I'm supposed to go into the pro-bono office in the afternoon. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing for them - I guess I just keep going and meet people and just be there. something will eventually happen.
otherwise, I'm still waiting to get my taxes started - haven't received two 1099 forms. If I get my taxes started, I can see if I get any refund. Last year was weird - 4 months in Japan, then nothing until summer and a month working for that real estate agent, then a month of tutoring, then 6 weeks at that law office. Weird year!
anyway - I'm rambling. bye for now.
