I was thinking more about this and realizing that, as far as I know, most Japanese are cremated. unless they have religious beliefs that would be different (like there are several Christians in Japan), then they would lay out the body for the viewing and the funeral, and then cremate the body. so I don't know how they would feel about that profession - it's definitely different from being a butcher.
