it's almost over!!
I won't be online until tomorrow, so I wanted to say hi!!
my final exam is in just a few hours. not sure why I'm nervous - I guess because the midterm was such a bitch (or is that the teacher?)... and I'm just tired of school. but it will be all over soon.
it's been a nice relaxing day at home though - I got up after 7:30 this morning and studied for two hours straight with total peace and quiet. then got online a bit, then vacuumed and exercised (walked two miles with my dvd!). Then hubby came home - he has the afternoon off too - and we ate lunch and started laundry. the weather is gorgeous outside, low 80s with a breeze. I just love having a day off during the week.
I'll go back to work tomorrow, then three days off!! It's nice that we don't have really big plans this weekend - maybe a bike ride Sat morning, then my haircut, then Sunday go with M into the city for his lesson and maybe eat Vietnamese food again, then we might go to see a band called Southern Culture on the Skids - they're playing at some club somewhere in the burbs on Sunday night. then Monday just a do-nothing day. and of course somewhere in there I have to do major grocery shopping - our fridge is empty!
well back to studying. wish me luck!

I can understand your hesitance about public schools. I totally get that. It's unfortunate that you feel that way though. Schools could use good teachers. :-)
I'm definitely going back for my Masters... it's a matter of when, not if. I think I'd like to get my feet under me teaching before I do that. :-)

I'd love to teach if I could - but I just can't go back to school for the teaching credential, now that I've spent a lot of money for this paralegal certificate. I chose to do the paralegal certificate coursework before the economy took a downturn - I thought I could get a really high paying job, but I didn't really think much about it. now I kind of regret it. I hope things turn around and I can maybe get a job as a paralegal, but I guess I could always go back to teaching at the college level. and there's still the possibility I might go to Japan again in the future -and I will teach there.
I didn't choose the easy path, I guess:) anyway, sorry for rambling...

No, you certainly didn't choose the easy path. But you chose your own path and that's more important. :-) And ramble on any time you please!!!

thanks! and you just gave me license to rant and ramble, so beware:)
