I'm wondering if I should give up my community, thedailyactor. I love it, and I've been doing it for a long time. But lately people don't participate. I know we have more than six members, however, for some reason only six people voted yesterday, and maybe 11 the day before. I was going to post something on there about it, but I think the members are tired of hearing me complain. But then again, no one's reading!

and also, it seems like lots of my LJ friends have disappeared too. About 10 or more of my friends have not posted for more than 2 weeks... Where is everyone? Is it because the weather's getting warmer, or because people are taking final exams? Or is everyone disappearing from LJ due to sites like facebook and twitter? I fear that no one wants to take time for communities on Live Journal anymore - except perhaps for communities related to Star Trek or Twilight...

should I continue posting actor polls even with only 6-12 participants? Is it worth my time and effort? Or should I just quit?

I think I'm getting sick... so I'm going to bed. I don't know why I should be getting sick, though - because all I ever do is work and read and sleep. I have no life to speak of.

the thing is, I love posting the actors. I just get sad and frustrated when people don't participate. but I can't help it I guess that people don't vote on who they aren't familiar with. I have wanted to get into the LJ spotlight, and I tried once, but I was never chosen. I could ask the other dailycomms to help pimp it again - and I can always pimp theirs too.

haha - I don't think I'm getting swine flu. of course I always worry, but I was just super tired last night, with a headache. my husband's got a sore throat, but it could be just a cold. the weather here is just horrible, rainy and thunderstorms every day and not warm.

I like the idea of finding time for myself - I did watch two Star Trek shows last night, and read my book!
