*sigh* I fear I'll forever remain the only person I know who didn't like "Inception" all that much. I loved "Batman Begins", "The Prestige" (which I just watched again last night) and "Memento", but "The Dark Knight" as well as "Inception" were huge disappointments for me. I was just bored and missed the magic from Nolan's previous films. But it's like that all too often - the huge, super successful blockbusters barely ever appeal to me, especially the ones made over the last 3-4 years. People were praising the complex characters, but I just found them flat and didn't care what happens to them. It's probably something you can't explain logically; it's a gut feeling, and my guts said "No".

But I'm surprised that "Inception" isn't out in Japan yet. Does it take that long over there?
