it's not life that matters but the journey...

It's always nice to sit down and think about the positive things and stuff that makes you happy.

Hmm, it's been very hot here for a week or two so there hasn't been much to enjoy - we don't do well with heat in the UK - it was up to 30C (86F) for a few days this week and then there was a bit of a thunderstorm which let it cool off a little finally!

James' mum had a BBQ just after they got back from their holiday to New York so we got some tasty BBQ food and cider that day which was really nice!

We got almost our entire deposit back from the house we just left - just £100 kept for repainting the lounge (we'd pulled off some of the paint when we removed some whiteboards we'd stuck to the wall and didn't have perfect matching paint to cover the patches so that was fair enough!) - so that was a nice windfall.

The heat has meant it's been very nice to have icecreams and lollies, though they are quite pricey and we got one batch that appeared to have been left somewhere to melt and then refrozen as all the sticks has sunk into the icecream!

As for TV shows, I'm very behind, though I was enjoying watching the second season of Lost Girl a couple of weeks ago, it's a great supernatural themed show with female leads for once!
