it's not life that matters but the journey...

Ugh - it's so hot. but what else is new in the world? I didn't leave my apartment at all today - mostly because of the heat, and also because I spent hours online trying to find a nice bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding. I'll be the only bridesmaid (or matron really since I'm married), so I can choose my own dress - though it's quite difficult since I can't stand most of the designs out there. mainly because I refuse to wear either sleeveless or strapless, which 99 percent of the dresses are. I found a dress I really love, but no one carries it in this city - and I can't order it online in time for the wedding in early September. *sigh* I might have to get a pattern and get a dress made, if I can find a pattern I like. my eyes are tired from using the internet all day. and I feel lazy. but it's summer, so it's my excuse. and I really do need to find a dress - it's quite an important issue.
