Happy Heart's Day from me and Hello Kitty!

Hope everyone had a great Day!

I was just happy to go back to work (yes happy) after spending yesterday at home snowed in. this morning's commute was very stressful though and I was nearly spinning out a few times - even in a Jeep! but I was ecstatic when the sun finally came out midday today and the snow stopped after about 28 hours or more of storming.

kazumii for the boxes of chocolate - you can see them on my user info page. luckily they're virtual since I have a tummy ache after eating tons of chocolate and cupcakes at work today. I think I still have a sugar high!

and I owe so many comments - and a few interviews, so I'm sorry for being so behind. I'll catch up... I caught up yesterday when i was home all day, but now I'm behind again:)

oh, and I have a request... I am going to update my icons, so please take a few minutes to look at what I have and suggest which ones I should toss and which I should keep... I have many on my hard drive just waiting to be used:)

I looked through your icons. I love the ones that have you in them and the ones with Leo. Paul winking is a keeper ::sigh:: What a sweet picture of him. :-)

thanks - I will be careful but it's supposed to snow again - yikes! I wish I was in Hawaii!

Please be careful though-that sounds very scary! Driving in this is always the pits-we got snowed into the driveway-there's 2-3 foot snowdrifts in the drive-lol. Or..was. ha! We had to break out the big gun and fire up the tractor to plow it all out in order to get ready for work tomorrow-I mean today. O.o Heee.

yes driving in the snow was a new experience for me. when I lived in Chicago before, I was always taking the train and walking (which is a pain but not so dangerous). wow you guys have a plow? that's big time!

Well, I had to shovel us out. LOL. So not really a play day so to speak! He forgot to add gas to the tractor-so it was all powered by my arms-as well as his. Twit. LOL. I am so sore tonight. My shoulders hurt-and I had an asthma attack after finishing and coming in. Lovely.
And~we had 2-4 foot snow drifts from the last torm-yesterday. I took a few pics from the front of the garage-we were so snowed in I had to shovelt he garage out to get out to shoevel the drive. *Snorts* I am serious too! LMAO!
Drive careful ok? I know how crazy/scary the roads can be-even shoveled!

I was gonna take pics of our snow too - it was crazy and there's this big overhanging of snow and ice in front of our bedroom window (we're on the third floor of the apartment building), so it seems we're in an ice cave or something. remember my pics of the icicles from December? crazy!

hope your shoulders are okay after the shoveling. that's hard! take care!

I did manage a few snapshots of the snow! I still have to upload them. I was so busy this weekend I didn't do a damn thing tonight. We cleaned, fixed small things around the house-and painted the bathroom. And bought all kinds of little things to spruce it up as well. Then spent all day yesterday working on it. Bah. I am so listless tonight I can barely sit here-lol! I apologize for getting back to these posts so late. I am so lethargic! I think because i was so flat out all weekend.
I rember those pictures you took though. Yikes! You guys got slammed then-and this round too I must say! If I csn I will upload mine-I just about 3-4 pics that I recall, but wow. Heee! My shoulders are much better tonight though. I was on a pain pill all weekend(back spams suck out loud)to get the painting and cleaning done(brother and his wife helped as well bless them both). But I am off the meds and I am doing alot better. ;-)

I am still behind-lol. My flist has grown large-and I love it. But it makes me upset when I can't answer posts in a timely manner. Well, that and I am chatty to the extreme-lmao! You'd never have guessed that right? Heee.
It's 43 here! The snow is melting!!!! Well, that and I've offered to ship what hasn't to other needy flisters ;-P

that's hilarious - I would love to send some snow to my friends in San diego! or out to my other friends in Florida. make them dig their car out of the ice. haha!

I've looked at your icons but I think they are personal choice so I wouldn't presume to suggest which ones you should loose. I would hate to see the sweet little animated disney ones disappear (if you want my opinion!)
In fact, if I also credit, can I pinch the eeyore one?

yes I guess the icons are a personal choice - I just need a change and will switch them around soon. I love the disney ones too and want some more of those:)

I did check out

peaces_icons and got 5 icons and joined. I chose some different ones to yours in the end. I do love Winnie the Pooh and there are so many to choose from!
How is the weather now? It's cold here, but we get very little snow on the South Coast (thank goodness!)

the weather is getting better thankfully! it will be up to the high 40s by next week, and there's no more snow forecast - but we do have rain which will hopefully melt the snow. spring is coming...

are you on the south coast? that's maybe near my good friend who lives near Torquay. near where they filmed Sense and Sensibility. I envy you!

I visit Torquay occasionally as part of my job (Torbay Hospital). It's actually in the South West of England. I'm a bit further east. Obviously though, nowhere is too far away in this country!
