I have another request - and if you didn't give me some movie suggestions yesterday, then shame on you ^_* go back and do it:)
Please tell me when you were born. you don't have to tell me the year, if you don't want to, but please tell me the month and day. I want to keep a record of everyone's birthday, along with your mailing address (and I think I have everyone's but if not, I'll ask you later).
thanks!!
I tried to catch up with everyone's posts today while I was at the office (yes, I'm avoiding work), but am definitely not caught up with emails and replies. Sadly, I won't be online much tonight or tomorrow. tonight I plan to go to bed and read, and maybe watch a movie. I have had a major headache all day, and my shoulders are aching again. probably from either not sleeping well, or sleeping in a weird position, or from being stressed. I don't want to go into all of my worries again here. needless to say, I wish I had family closer right now, or someone to talk to. my sister is great, but she's so busy with her baby, and I'm happy for her. I don't want to constantly dump my life on her. my mom is always there, so that helps, but she's miles away!
hope everyone is having a great week.
*hugs*

Movie rec #1: Suspect Zero. In which an FBI agent is chasing a killer who's killing serial killers. There's a paranormal aspect which is kinda cool, plus it stars Aaron Eckhart, Carrie-Anne Moss and Ben Kingsley.
#2: The Black Dahlia. A film noir detective story based on a real case. It's very interesting, though the beginning's a bit slow. But I really liked the cinematography (because I'm a nerd like that!).
And, my birthday: 26 January
Hope your headache goes away! *hugs*

Aaron Eckhart and Carrie Ann Moss are two of my faves!
and I love cinematography stuff too - I'm a total movie nerd. just read my film reviews:)
my dad's birthday is a day after yours, so I'll definitely remember that.
*hugs*
and unfortunately I was too tired today so the headache is back. I'll be going to bed soon. It's 10 hour work days that kill me.

After that, I haven't really seen any new movies, at least new in the chronological sense. I recently saw Midnight Cowboy, which I must say was excellent. Dustin Hoffman's best preformance (again, IMO).
My birthday is December 2nd :D

I did see Zodiac - huge huge Jake fan that I am - and loved it! In fact I need to see it again!!
Midnight Cowboy was fantastic - I saw it a couple times many years ago. Dustin Hoffman is right up there on my top 10 actors of all time!
thanks for the recs and the birthday!!

I'm doing okay. Just working mostly. I haven't been on LJ much lately. I'm doing some editing on a webpage at work, so by the time I get home and have time, I don't want to look at a computer screen anymore. But I do check in from time to time.
Hope you're well. *HUGS*

I'm glad you're doing okay!
life here is status quo - just lots of overtime on the job which makes me tired at night and I don't want to do much but watch movies and rest.

My birthday is 9/2/66 ;-P Hope you're doing alright? I am at a loss on movie recs. I just watch a few here and there. I'm shallow-and if there are pretties in it I rent. LMAO!
*Hugs*

don't worry about the movie suggestions - I got lots from my other friends. I'm with you on the pretties thing though - that's why I rented the last movie I watched which was actually not so good. the guy was beautiful though!

Ohh good. I never know what to rec! As I am fairly...shallow? *Snorks* I love me some pretties! So yeah, that's the way the rental thingy goes! I just realized-I haven't seen a movie in over 2 plus months! Rental-it's been a month? I am shocked! O.O But I have tons of movies at home to watch so I'm not exactly hurting! ;-P
*Hugs*
