back home again

I'm back in chicago and I'm so tired. I left Port Angeles this morning at 7:30, drove 3 hours to drop off my car at the rental place (so expensive for four days of rental), then took the van to the airport and got through security easily (not like when I left Chicago - nightmare security story will follow in a later post) - the flight was good, I watched "Music and Lyrics" with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore - very cute movie - and slept a little. When we landed, I turned on my phone and found a message from my husband telling me he was going to pick me up at the airport. What a surprise! When I left last week he said I should take a taxi home because he would be working, but lo and behold he decided to do something nice. maybe he felt bad about being such a jerk last night on the phone.

anyway, he picked me up at the airport and we even went and got takeout Indian food for dinner. and he had a cold beer for me too! I know he missed me - and he has been really nice since I got home. but he still should have been nicer on my b-day.

well its back to work tomorrow. thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday... i miss you all and will try to catch up soon!!

*Squishie hugs* I'm glad you're back! I know you must be exhausted-so will wait for the rest of your trip info when you're rested! But just wanted to stop in-say hello-and wish you a belated Happy Birthday!

*hugs back* thanks!!! I will be updating details and photos today. gotta do it today since I'm starting a class tomorrow - yikes!

thanks for the birthday greeting, and the picspam of Jensen - it was lovely!!! I tried adding it to my memories but couldn't figure out how from your page - any suggestions?

I'm really glad you liked the spam! I was hoping that if I left the link here-it would be easy for you to find it ;-P
Have you found a way to add the spam to memory yet? If not there should be add to memories on the bottom of my post/page. The top one is for me to add-but the bottom link should be for everyone else ;-P But I'll check to be sure!

I actually had trouble finding the link to add your picspam to my memories but I will look again. if I click from my yahoo mail, I can't get into your site because it asks me to be logged in. it's tricky!

I'll figure it out somehow:)

I'm not seeing it either? WTH? I see the one for me at the top-but not one for others to use. Maybe because it's my account I can't see it? I will keep looking too-if you find it-let me know!

I don't get that-suddenly it's just gone? Maybe when I switched colors? I don't see how that would affect it but I am not above grasping for straws-lol!

*hugs* Happy Birthday!!!! *hangs head down in shame* I am sooooooo bad at remembering birthdays. I am glad that you are home safe and sound and that your husband picked you up from the airport. I am still working on some of the pics from Hawaii and I hope to have some more up this weekend.

oh don't worry at all, Michelle. it was really LJ's fault - I had my birthday on my user page but they deleted it - I know I didn't cause I want people to know that stuff:) I had a great birthday and even the late wishes are great!!

ooh I'd love to see your pics from Hawaii - let me know when you've posted them in case I am not online...

it was LJ's fault - I had my birthday on my user info page and LJ deleted it somehow. I really don't know what happened. so don't feel bad:) thanks for the birthday wishes!!
