I'm alive, but just barely. had an interesting weekend, in a good and bad way. will write about it tomorrow when I'm not so tired. in a nutshell, I think I'm coming down with something, I'm really bored with my job and want another, I want to go to Hawaii really terribly, and that's about it. Oh and another thing? I hate the weather forecasers here (has anyone seen the movie with Nicolas Cage "The Weather Man"? - it really is very accurate). they didn't predict rain today - but guess what, it poured all during my commute. I mean seriously poured! and I didn't bring my damn umbrella - it was sitting on the kitchen table after I arrived home tonight. So I got soaking wet today walking to and from my class. the parking lot was a swimming pool, so my sandals got soaked, and I was basically a drowned rat when I arrived at class. our midterm project was due today so that's the real reason I went - that and we have a quiz Wednesday too so we had a review! only a couple more weeks to go with this class. then I have a month off and then begin two more - the core of the program!

I want a new icon for my default - any suggestions? and I'd love a new header too.

well that's enough for now. I really need to sleep.

Sounds like there's all sorts of stuff, twirling around in your brain.
So sorry you got all wet. I know it feels horrible having to sit through a meeting or a class when you're feeling like a drowned rat.
I've never been to Hawaii. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't. Maybe that can be your treat to yourself when you graduate from your school program.

ah yes I have so much stuff going on these days. but it's all good in the end - I'm trying to get a better future, and a more interesting career!

you should go to Hawaii - it's truly the most beautiful place! I will definitely go there maybe next year would be the best time!

*sigh* I went through something similar when I was going to school. I had a big exam on a night where it was absolutely pouring outside not my raincoat or my umbrella kept me totally dry. I had jeans on that day which made it worse and all thoughout the exam I had frozen thighs due ot it being ice cold in the classroom. *hugs*

Oh what the hell weatherpeople?! Doesn't that suck. I don't really get how they can predict total global warming but not the weather for that day. *sigh*

yea the weather people don't know anything really. they can sometimes tell you it's gonna be hot, but otherwise I find that they are all wrong. that's why that movie with Nicolas Cage is so perfect.

yes the sunflowers are good, but I feel like I need a change. maybe something more mystical like moons or stars or something.

I saw 'in limbo' as being resting/relaxing and thought of this! Won't be offended if it's not your choice :)

well actually for me the concept behind my user name, and being in limbo, is more like not being where I want to be, kind of in a waiting or holding period. But in limbo is also relaxing and I like the concept. I do like that image, and I will use it for sure, if not for my default I will use it for other stuff. thanks for the thought and for making that icon for me:)

Hope you find a new job. I know what you mean about the weather forecast. We had the opposite though-- we were supposed to get a lot of rain, but not a drop did fall. Doesn't matter much to me, though since I'm pretty much a hermit. Hope the quiz went well. :-)
