can anyone suggest...

a free, and simple, photo editing program that we can download for both Windows XP and for Vista?

I just want something for resizing and adjusting quality of photos - nothing fancy like photoshop. is there such a thing?

any suggestions would be so helpful:)

I haven't used this one myself but I know of people who have used this to quickly resize a picture online:

For something with a few more bells and whistles to it, but that's free, I know a lot of people who use GIMP:

I know that photobucket now has these qualities, but I don't know if that's because you get them as a paid member or not. It's worth checking out :)

I gave you a disk with Fireworks a while back, if you still have it. It works with both XP and Vista. I don't know if it's "simple," though.

yea I tried using Fireworks and failed miserably to understand it. I also felt the same way about Photoshop - too complicated for my simple brain. LOL!
