I just found out that Ricardo Montalban and Patrick McGoohan both died.
How sad.

Fantasy Island used to be my favorite show, and of course Khan was one of the coolest Star Trek villains ever! And I wish I'd seen more of the Prisoner - I watched a few of them on video eons ago. what a cool show!

RIP Ricardo and Patrick.

I just read the news too.

I adored The Prisoner - caught it on reruns when I was a student - perfect for late nights, beers and student pseudo-philosophy.

And Khan was terrific - in the original ST series and in Wrath of Khan.

Both sorely missed.

I've got to see if The Prisoner is available on DVD - it was such a cool show!

oh, the Wrath of Khan is my favorite of the Star Trek movies - that and the 4th one with the whales:)

They are sad passings indeed.

If you want to see a good flick that Ricardo Montalban was in - try 'Sayonara' with Marlon Brandon. It's a favorite of mine.
