Sadly, you're like many movie fans with the Oscars. That's what the Academy gets for nominating five small-budget, little-seen, November and December films. Maybe would have had a little bigger of an audience if they nominated more mainstream fare like WALL-E or The Dark Knight for Best Picture.

At this point, it may be Slumdog as the favorite. But they have no acting nominations, which reduces its chances. The Reader is not gonna win. Neither is Frost/Nixon. Benjamin Button is too weird for Academy voters. Milk could win to make up for the injustice that was Brokeback losing to Crash, but the Academy voters are notoriously predictable for its conservatism and its shyness towards gay pictures.
