This article has me both laughing, and shaking my head in disbelief!

Why wait three years to file a lawsuit for something that would be pretty hard to prove in the first place? and isn't there a statute of limitations for this kind of thing? I believe it's already passed - or maybe she's just getting this in under the 3-year limit. guess she thinks that if the economy is failing, she'll just sue someone to get some money.

god, this country is so sue-happy it makes me cringe! If this stupid woman knew the first thing about litigation, she'd realize she has no chance in hell of getting even half of what she's asking for.

but the best part is the first comment to this article from a reader: "Heaven forbid the mother actually supervises her own child instead of leaving it to a large mouse."

Silly woman. Let's hope it gets thrown out before it even gets to court.

I think it will - it would be considered frivolous and a waste of money and time.

yea it seems like a frivolous case, and it wouldn't make it to court.

I do agree that people are crazy - and out for a quick buck.

Indeed. It's a part of life that seems to permeate no matter where you go.
