Should I be upset that about five of my LJ friends have posted saying they have a dreamwidth account (that they were given an invitation), and that I haven't received any invites?

in other news, it's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've got to drive about 40 minutes after work to pick up yet another part for my car. I got the dealership to tell me exactly what is wrong with my car, and to list out the parts for me. I won't have them do the work because they want me to pay about $700 on top of the $120 that I paid for the assessment! Ya right! they mark up each part about $40 and then charge $120 per hour for labor. Ya right!! So, I'm getting the parts myself, taking them to Midas, and hoping for the best. My mechanics at Midas love me, so they'll probably charge me half of what they normally would charge anyone else. So what other option do I have? Pay the dealership a frickin' fortune? I don't think so...

anyway, enough about my car. what will be will be.

I felt like shit yesterday so I actually skipped my class and slept and watched Twilight again. Not that I really love the movie, but I was just curious - the first time I watched it was when I was recovering from my procedure and i think I fell asleep... But even though I was home last night, I'm thankful that toadflax234 posted on my thedailyactor community for me. It saved me lots of energy!! you're the best:)

well after all I've said about not wanting to read the books, I think you and another friend have convinced me to read them. after I finish the Sookie novels, I might just have to go ahead and read the Twilight series. how many are there, out of curiosity?

I'm on number 3. There are 4 so far. She was writing a fifth, but apparently a draft was leaked on the Internet, so she's delayed it, indefinitely.

yes, I have tons of books just sitting waiting to be read. and I have a bag of books to take to the used bookstore and see if they'll let me trade. some I've read and some I don't think I even care to read - not sure why I bought them at all.

I don't have too many that I'm not going to read. I collected a series on Great Writers a while ago, intending to read them all. But I haven't - yet!

well there's only two books I didn't read - the two books that were written about the Zodiac killer. I was interested after I saw the movie with Jake Gyllenhaal, but then when I started reading the first book I got bored.

there's so many classics and great writers that I need to read, but just need more time:)
