I have always loved vampire stories that were more gothic and atmospheric - not necessarily the bloody or scary ones. I love the traditional Dracula story, or Dark Shadows - those were not so much really horror films (at least for me). Let the Right One In was definitely a creepy film, which I don't mind, but I can see how it wouldn't appeal to lots of people. my husband would hate it too - he hates any horror films. for some reason, horror films don't bother me, I guess because I had older siblings who were into them, and I grew up watching them. but I have pretty eclectic taste - I love happy feel-good movies too:)
