yea the heat was terrible, but thankfully it was just one day and it was the end of the trip. we were lucky with the flat too - I feel really blessed. we had a great trip overall, and that was the only incident, so it was like someone was watching over us.

The heat can be brutal! I'm glad it wasn't an issue for you more than it already was! Glad the flat happened when it did-so that you could get it fixed with minimal stress!
I'm good! Had a few days off to see my fave author and get her new book signed-and then we hit the mall-lol. OMG there is this tea place-called Teavana? To die for! I bought an herbal mix that is wonderful-very expensive-but wonderful stuff! How are you doing now?

it's funny though that we went from so much heat to really cold temps in a few days. it's been cool and cloudy until today - the sun finally came out a bit. it's gorgeous! I'm so glad you got a chance to see your author and relax at the mall! I'd ove to try that tea!

we are doing pretty good - I'm enjoying being with family though the weekend was crazy with the two kids here. they are lots of fun!

We had heat warnings for the last 3 days. ugh. It was over 100 degrees out this way. I told dad we're staying inside the a/c! It's been awful trying to breathe. But we had a storm earlier today and we did get some rain-and now it's only 80 but without the humidity. :) I'm glad that it got cooler for you all-I know that had to be a welcome relief!
I had a good time! Sherri was so sweet-like always! The tea is available online! teavana.com if you're ever curious! But remember-it's really expensive-lol.
