I've changed my layout because I wanted something more fall-like and more colorful. but I'm afraid this one is too Japanese... what do you think?

Can anyone recommend good layout sites? How do you all find your layouts (that is if you don't create your own)? I just don't have the time, energy or creativity to create a layout, so I want one already pre-made. any ideas? I want something autumn like with earthy tones.

I think it looks fantastic. I like it a lot! It's definitely colorful and I like the Japanese flair to it!

I love the colors too, but I wish I knew what the kanji meant ... it might have something to do with winter, though.

I like the layout - and the Japanese is appropriate, isn't it? Nice colours too.

I use the LJ layouts, or those from

freelayouts are good too. Can't make my own. No idea how!

the colours are so pretty. I just thought that since I'm going to Japan, it was either appropriate, or funny, to have a Japanese layout. But anyway...

I have no idea how to make layouts either, and have no time to learn. but freelayouts might be nice thanks!

I like it. I'm a total technotard so I don't make anything so I'm relieved I was able to find a place but sadly it only has Blogger templates. You might try http://createblog.com for some.

I know how to type and somehow pull off a website but it does help that the place is so easy that even a monkey could have a website.

I like your new layout!

Usually when I want a new layout I get one from

refuted or

fruitstyle, but I almost always end up changing the color scheme slightly once I make it mine.

I've tried changing the color scheme on pre-made layouts, but sometimes it takes me all day. I'm not very good with technical stuff.

How can something be too Japanese? Lol. It is what it is, and its lovely.

well I was being silly and thought that since I'm going to Japan, it was silly to have a Japanese-looking layout. but after looking at this, I realize I like it a lot. the colors are so calming and pretty.

I love your new layout! It's very pretty. I recently changed my layout back to one I had used a year or so ago, but I'd love to have something fresh, too. I've only ever used the pre-made LJ layouts, but I might check out some of the communities others have suggested above. This was a good question! :-)

well I thought it was time for something less spring-like, and I am really picky about colors and such. but this one caught my eye. It's nice to have communities for future reference - I often like to change things around a bit:)

I love this layout. I just grabbed one of the pre-made ones here on LJ so I'm no help at all.

thanks - I like changing my themes with the seasons, so winter won't be far away. I had someone design a layout for me once, and used it for awhile, but then needed a change. I do know how to copy and paste the CSS stylesheet if it's already done for me - but designing the layouts is beyond my abilities.

I do like my current layout - the colors are so cheerful.

I will definitely let you know when I'm ready to change my layout. perhaps when I get to Japan and settle in there. I love Halloween - I'll be interested to see what you choose!
