I haven't left any comment for a while but I read what you told us (most of the time long after you wrote it) and I'm glad to see that things are settling a bit now with your husband. I hope that this is the right new beginning you both need and that you'll be happy about it. And I'm so glad to see that there's no long quarantine in Japan and that you got your cat back immediately. I've heard some awful stories about animals held in quarantine for months in some countries, enough to make me never want to go there.

thank you for your comment - I do think that this might be just the right place for us to be now. and it was so nice that everything was smooth this time and there was no wait for my kitty! last time I came to Japan, my cat was in quarantine for two weeks, and it was so expensive for us, and traumatic for the cat. Leo is happy to be here, and we're getting settled.
