Wow...you live so close to Fuji. That is awesome. When I visited Japan in 2003, my husband and I went to Hakone. We also sailed on this boat down Lake Ashi. In theory, you could see Fuji on a clear day, but unfortunately, it was cloudy that day. Oh well.

I've been to Hakone, and I've been on that same boat on Lake Ashi. it's so beautiful there. The whole area around Fuji-san is gorgeous. I do like living here for that reason.

hopefully you can visit (or live in) Japan again and see the mountain!
