Yoga was nice today. I sat next to a lady who has lived in both Canada and Australia - her husband worked (or maybe still works) for a big paper company called Daishowa, which also has a factory in Port Angeles, WA, where my parents live. It was nice to have someone to talk to:)
The weather is really misty and rainy today - it started raining yesterday afternoon, and of course it's made the temperature much colder. I like the rain actually - it's peaceful. But it makes me sleepy too - I hope I can stay awake this afternoon to watch my download of Supernatural .
I'm still set to go to this job interview on Monday afternoon. It will be an all-day event since I'll have to leave my house before 10 a.m. just to get to the interview by 2:30. The interview should be over by 4 p.m. and I imagine I won't get home until about 6:30 or so... Honestly I don't want to go to this interview because I feel pretty sure that I will get the job with the the company I interviewed with a month ago (which I'll call Company A). I spoke to the guy from Company A this morning and he basically assured me that I will be hired if they get 8 or more contracts this year. Right now, they are still waiting for the school district and the city of Fuji to make their decision about how they will split the available contracts between two companies, and apparently the "powers that be" work on their own time schedule.
I could be waiting another week or longer before there's an answer. Funny thing - the guy from Company A actually mentioned the other company (the one I'll interview with on Monday) by name on the phone today. Of course I had to keep quiet about applying with that rival company - I've not heard as many good things about them and he even told me that the school district wasn't as happy with them as they were with Company A. I just have a strong feeling that Company A would be better to work for than the other company in terms of management, salary and other benefits. Nonetheless, I'm still going to this other interview on Monday to be safe - "just in case"...
Anyway, I plan to relax this weekend with my husband and not worry. Something is bound to work out with one of these companies. My husband has a lead on a possible job too, through a friend of his. He should find out more by the time I find out about mine.
Well, I'll leave you today with a picture I took about a week ago, when the moon was full. The sun had not yet set, and the moon was glowing right above the mountains which I can see from my bedroom window.

happy Friday and happy weekend everyone... stay warm and dry.

Glad you had a good day at yoga and had somebody nice to talk to! That's great!
And good luck on Monday's interview. I know you'd prefer Company A but a "just in case" plan is always a good thing to have. :-)
Have a wonderful weekend, Laura!

I'm glad you had a good Yoga session. I aspire to one day be bendy enough to do Yoga, lol! ;) I really need to incorporate stretching back into my daily routine, I've lost an enormous amount of flexibility over the past few years and that's no good. :(
Here's hoping you get the job with Company A! *crosses fingers* I hope TPTB get their act moving a little faster so you can get good news soon!
*many hugs* ♥!

I love yoga, and I've been doing it for awhile - but not enough to get really flexible or skilled with the difficult poses. I wish I was more bendy really, but I'm going to work on my flexibility. I'm also worried about my upper body strength, which is diminishing as I get older. So I'm starting to do more pushups. that's so hard!
thanks for crossing your fingers. I'm doing that too - and my toes! I need good news:)
*big hugs back*
