fly by post - and a cute video!

Hi there everyone. this is just a fly-by post... I'm super behind on LJ, but I'm not feeling so great today, so no catching up just yet. I am having some kind of allergy (hayfever) attack and my throat hurts and my nose is running. so I'm going to bed early, since I've got a busy day at the elementary school tomorrow!

Today I visited my third school - an elementary school just about 15 minutes walk from my house. It's actually the same elementary school that my husband attended many years ago - but the building is now different. Also my nephew Daiki went there, and some of the teachers remembered him! I loved this school, as it's so small and cozy - only about 250 students and just a few teachers. I only teach three classes there, and I won't actually be going back until September - which is a pity! The principal was super nice and talked to me for a long time and even gave me a personal tour of the school!

anyway, I haven't got much more to say for now. Later on in the week I have another big picture post... some pics I took last weekend when we went to see my husband's friend play music at a couple places, including a temple!

I know - the one school I like more than the others, and I go there only 18 times in the whole year! it's not enough!
*sigh*

isn't that kitty so cute?

I'm sorry I've missed you all week on Skype - haven't felt like chatting much. I'm a bit better today though - Yay!

thanks - I'm kind of glad it wasn't allergies, but it turned out to be a bad bad cold, which I'm still trying to get over. so either way, yuck!

I don't think I can visit that school any more then they already have me scheduled, sadly. but it's nice to have a place I really look forward to visiting:)

apparently, that cat Winston is quite famous on Youtube. he has several videos - he's adorable!

oh sorry to hear about your cold - my "allergies" turned out to be a very bad cold too. I was sneezing and had the runny nose and I even lost my voice so I couldn't teach! thank goodness for the weekend so I can recover some more...

I wish I could get that school to request me more often, but they only have me 18 days in the year. oh well.

Yeah, he's a favourite of CuteOverload (much like Maru, also a very funny cat) so I've seen a lot of his stuff!
