really I don't. except that this post is hilarious:

(Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in Brokeback Mountain - can you EVEN imagine????)
thanks for all the advice on the grammar question I had the other day. I'm gonna see that teacher tomorrow and tell him what you all said - and what I believed all along.
I've got nothing to report today. I'm just getting more and more frustrated with my job - but it's money and I get a month off with pay, so I guess I need to stop complaining and just deal with it!
So before I go, I need to ask a favor. Can anyone reading this please see if you can get into the following sites:
www.davidlynch.com/
http://interviewproject.davidlynch.com
I can't get into them for the last several days, and when I try to access David Lynch's interview project from Facebook, I get a Trojan virus warning. I was able to get into both sites before, so I can't really believe it's because I'm in a foreign country. These are big sites - one is David Lynch's own site. I am really in disbelief that there is nothing on google about these sites being down - so I must be the only person who can't access them. Except that I can't get into it from my husband's computer either. I'm using Windows Vista, Firefox (and I also tried Internet Explorer), and I cleared my history and cookies and all... so it makes no sense!
UPDATE
I think I figured out that my virus protection program (a free program called Avast) was blocking the sites. I turned off my virus protection for a minute and was able to access both sites. BUT, I still don't understand it - because even with the protection turned off, I still couldn't watch the videos. And that's the whole point of the Interview Project website. And I don't get why Avast considers these sites to be a risk??!!
so anyway - it's a big mystery I guess. I could change my virus protection program, but that's such a big pain just for one site. Sorry David Lynch - I love you but your site's a big pain!

Sorry work is frustrating darling ::giant hugs::
I can get into the sites, so I am not sure what is the problem for you. Maybe your security software settings got changed somehow...maybe you want to check it out see if somehow it got on a higher protection than you wanted. I hope you can figure it out darling
::giant hugs and sends good vibes your way::
to edited: sorry the virus protection is being evil...it might not be your computer, it might be that the sites are running slow.

yea it has something to do with my security software - it's Avast and it's blocking those sites for some reason. I don't think there's much I can do about it.
thanks hon! *giant hugs back* and thanks for the vibes. hope you're having a good week!

Aww, I am sorry the software is giving you trouble...bad avast not doing its job (Or I guess doing it too well)
You are welcome, much love. ::Hugs:: My week is going okay, I hope you are having a good week.
Oh in either my journal or your journal, I said something about making Up icons, I made 4, you can find them here...http://community.livejournal.com/damnedsisters/20742.html
Will probably make more later, I just thought I would tell you since I think i told you I would

that's interesting about the DVS system - I can't believe that our local server would be censoring something like David Lynch's interview project - it's pretty harmless. I think it's an issue with my virus scanning program Avast - it seems to be thinking the websites are a risk, but I can't figure out how to change settings on there either.
I gave up trying anything - life's too short!
thanks!

as for the sites both were really slow loading for me, so I gave up!!

My Avast is giving me warning messages on that link as well, but that's happened with LJ before as well and they didn't have a Trojan, sometimes sites get mistakenly flagged I think. Aside from that the link won't load at all.

I haven't tried to visit that site again - I guess I'll just have to go without it.
sorry for the very late reply!

Hmm. I wonder what the problem is - I can't find it.
