I've got nothing to say

really I don't. except that this post is hilarious:

(Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in Brokeback Mountain - can you EVEN imagine????)

thanks for all the advice on the grammar question I had the other day. I'm gonna see that teacher tomorrow and tell him what you all said - and what I believed all along.

I've got nothing to report today. I'm just getting more and more frustrated with my job - but it's money and I get a month off with pay, so I guess I need to stop complaining and just deal with it!

So before I go, I need to ask a favor. Can anyone reading this please see if you can get into the following sites:

www.davidlynch.com/

http://interviewproject.davidlynch.com

I can't get into them for the last several days, and when I try to access David Lynch's interview project from Facebook, I get a Trojan virus warning. I was able to get into both sites before, so I can't really believe it's because I'm in a foreign country. These are big sites - one is David Lynch's own site. I am really in disbelief that there is nothing on google about these sites being down - so I must be the only person who can't access them. Except that I can't get into it from my husband's computer either. I'm using Windows Vista, Firefox (and I also tried Internet Explorer), and I cleared my history and cookies and all... so it makes no sense!

UPDATE

I think I figured out that my virus protection program (a free program called Avast) was blocking the sites. I turned off my virus protection for a minute and was able to access both sites. BUT, I still don't understand it - because even with the protection turned off, I still couldn't watch the videos. And that's the whole point of the Interview Project website. And I don't get why Avast considers these sites to be a risk??!!

so anyway - it's a big mystery I guess. I could change my virus protection program, but that's such a big pain just for one site. Sorry David Lynch - I love you but your site's a big pain!

that's interesting you have Avast and can't access the site - it has to be that Avast has somehow flagged it, but why I don't know. I guess if I want to see that site, I have to change my virus program. but to what I wonder...

It's still blocking it and I've updated my version of Avast. When it happened with LJ Avast sorted out the error in a couple of days so not sure why that site is still blocked. I dunno what other anti virus to recommend, I've only ever had Norton (which sucks) and Avast (which I switched to cos it's free!)

yea I had Norton and MacAfee before. I got MacAfee for free when I had a Comcast subscription for cable in the u.s. but here I have to get a free virus program or buy something online which is hard without a credit card in Japan.

I haven't tried to visit that site again - I guess I'll just have to go without it.

sorry for the very late reply!
