since I'm stuck in my house with all this free time, I thought I'd share with you the wonderful singer who I recently discovered. Her name is Tina Dico, and I first heard her when she sang with the fantastic group Zero 7. She's Danish, gorgeous, and has a truly haunting voice - and her songs are just amazing. I'm a tad obsessed with her.

Here is Tina singing "Home" with Zero 7:

and here she is, live, singing her song "In The Red" (can anyone speak Danish and interpret what she's saying in the intro?):

and my other favorite of her songs, "Warm Sand" - again live - and God is she gorgeous???:

and if you like her, here is her album "In the Red" for your downloadable listening pleasure:
Tina Dico - In the Red
Let me know if there are any problems with the file - it took forever to upload.

Enjoy!

my sister introduced me to Zero 7 awhile back and I love them. also have you heard Thievery Corporation? another very ethereal sound. but yea Tina is amazing - she's just gotten under my skin somehow. the other girl who sang with Zero 7, Sia Furler, is also good, but I prefer Tina! glad you like it:)

Interesting. I've never heard of Thievery Corp. I've heard Sia's solo stuff and honestly, I can't say I'm a huge fan. But Tina is pretty damn wonderful.

Hmm. Dunno really. There's something, I suppose.

You can hear my sister on her website:
http://www.beccyowenmusic.com/

When Phil plugged in his iPhone to iTunes last week, the Genius recommendation said "We see you like Beccy Owen,...." Makes her sound really famous, doesn't it? Lol.

I've only heard Ali's sister once maybe, so I'm not sure. I need to listen again:) I thought you might like this music - you and I seem to share similar music tastes.

yea she kind of does remind me of Agnetha - who I also had a girl crush on when I was younger - LOL! Sweden and Denmark are both Scandinavian countries after all!

anyway - hope you enjoy it!!
