So what do you think of my new layout?

I like it. It suits my mood now. I didn't find an LJ one that I liked, so I went to
mintyapple and found one. And just added my own header pic that was made for me awhile back by
bitterbird. The only thing is, when I view LJ in Firefox and in Internet Explorer, the fonts look different. and sometimes when I click on viewing comments, the text inside the header picture gets all skewed. I don't know how to fix it. Hmmm...
I had a very busy day - took some pictures of the Fujinomiya Sengen Shrine, but haven't uploaded them yet. Ate good food and walked around a seriously crowded and huge shopping mall that looks like it belongs in some suburb in some U.S. city not in Fujinomiya, Japan. I didn't take pictures of the mall. I hate malls. Especially when every person in the entire city is there. I've been enjoying my free time - sitting in my futon and watching movies and playing on LJ. I might get some sleep if my cat lets me.
until later...

I hate going to really busy places, sitting and watching movies and being on LJ sounds so much better, and I look forward to seeing your photos.
Urgh, I'm back to work tomorrow, fun!

anyway - I enjoy being home and relaxing too rather than dealing with crowds. but it's good to get out once in awhile so I don't go crazy in this house.
I'm back to work tomorrow - how is it going for you?

Glad you had a good day at the shrine and had yummy food. :-)
Hope you're doing okay, lady.
And question... I checked out that
(no subject)
I'm doing okay, just busy and stressed about the future as usual. lots of doubts and worries, but I guess that's part of life.
I'll be posting pics of the shrine visit today - hopefully:)
take care!

I hope the stress eases and your future becomes more clear soon, lady. I really do.

if you see my most recent post, you'll see that it's just getting more confusing and much less clear. I need some ethereal guidance, but I don't know who to turn to anymore. i don't trust my own decisions.

Malls are horrible - and I'm sad that Japan has adopted them from Western culture and that so many people think that it's a good thing. I mean it felt like every single person in the whole prefecture was at that mall yesterday. we drove for 20 minutes to find parking and that was on the roof! Malls are just an example of pure mass consumerism and there is nothing of culture in them at all. Japanese people are starting to adopt too many bad concepts from the western influence - giant shopping malls and bad eating habits are just a few of the things I've seen.
haha Kafka! He was a brilliant man.

Hope that you get some sleep :D

I did - just ignored the cat - LOL!

*LOL* Yeah I do that too but when we babysit her lately she doesn't come up on the bed because the one we have now is smaller than our old one.

sounds like a fun day, sorry you had to go to the mall though

Glad you had a nice time at the shrine. Wouldn't it be nice to go to a mall when it was empty?

I've been to malls in the U.S. when they're almost empty. it's hard to find that though - this country is obsessed with shopping! but then again I think every country is.

Don't get me wrong, I like shopping. I just don't like hoards of people. The small mall in Champaign was nice - I was often the only person in the shop!

Champaign must be a nice town!
