Quiet week so far... we had a great time on the weekend at my mom's house. It was very relaxing and uneventful, but seeing my mom's cat, and spending time with my mom was fun. The weather sucked - it's always sucky lately - but that's okay. The last two nights here have been really uneventful too - though I did watch the most recent episode of The Walking Dead and I'm thoroughly intrigued! Love that show!! Dexter has been good this season too, but I'm not so sure about this character they've introduced as a possible love/death interest for Dexter?! I like the actress (Yvonne Strahowski from Chuck ) but I'm not sure about the direction they're taking, or these twists with Deb...
Hands down my favorite show this year is Merlin - it wins for being even better than ever, with constant action, great acting, and amazing eye candy! Supernatural you lose!

Tonight we've been invited to hang out with our friends Nora and Aki for some Halloween snacks, and festivities, which she said included bobbing for apples (which I refuse to do!!)... but it will be nice to get out and socialize. Masahiko and I spend far too much time together without other people, and we need more social interaction - plus I want to get out of the apartment in case we get trick-or-treaters! I can't afford to buy candy for other people - LOL!

otherwise, not much news. My sister tried calling me yesterday and I didn't call her back yet. I just don't know if I have much to say. we could talk about tv shows, but that seems so shallow. I know I should call her, though...
