first of all I have to say thank you to
phantomsgyrl for posting that gorgeous photo of Jake from Vanity Fair... sometimes it sucks being in a foreign country where american mags are about $20.00 (if I can even find them) seeing that photo made me happy!
I had such an exciting morning. I went to feed the cat, and spilled dry food all over the floor (there's a back story to this, which I'll get to in a minute); of course this was after he had woken us both up around 5 a.m. knocking things on the floor, scratching, and generally being a Pain in the Ass! He loves to play when we are sleeping - and now that we are awake, guess what Leo (the cat) is doing now? of course, he's sleeping soundly with Kitty-chan and Teddy.
so the reason I spilled dry food all over the floor? well a couple days ago, just as I was about to vacuum my room, my mom called. I guess that Leo got jealous that I was giving my attention to this piece of plastic (which was really my mom's voice), so he started to make trouble. I heard this noise, like the tearing of paper, and when I went to investigate, I found Leo tearing a huge hole into the bag of dry food, which I'd left on the floor of the closet (the closet is usually closed, but I had opened it to vacuum and forgot about the food!). Leo's done this before, and I usually put his food into another bag or tupperware container, but this time I forgot. So Masahiko put the torn bag into a huge plastic bag, sealed it and put it into a drawer for safekeeping.... Flash forward to this morning, when I went to get more food from the drawer. Somehow all of the food had come out of the original bag, and into the plastic bag, so that when I tried to open the bag, food spilled out all over the floor! Such fun!
anyway, that was a short story made long... its a fine day, so we might take a drive out to see some nature, perhaps a lake. maybe I'll have some photos to post on here when I return.
and then tonight I'll watch Moonlight Mile, another Jake movie...
happy weekend everyone!

Hope you have a good day! Wish it was warm enough here to enjoy the outdoors. It's currently 10 below zero. :(

it was cold today, but clear and very beautiful. I will miss the nice weather in the winter when I move, but summers are terrible here (rain, hot and humidity)
LOL about your story - my cat helped me clean up the spill this morning, wondering why I didn't put the food into his bowl +)
by the way, I so love your icon - is that your kitty? *squeezes and pets and loves kitty* - so cute!!

Oh, Moonlight Mile is such a good movie. Jake is sublime in this. :D

i'm having a bad day computer-wise. I tried to watch MOonlight Mile (I downloaded both parts before checking) and the sound wouldn't work- I don't have the proper codex on my computer. do you know what to do for that? I really wish I knew more about computers...
hope you are having a great day!

Um...it could be the AC3. Here is a link to the codec. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AC3_Filter.htm

I'm sure you had a good excuse (like looking at Jake):D
and I did figure it out by myself (after accidentally uninstalling my real player - I get really overly dramatic sometimes and do stupid things... its my evil twin, though, not really me) - LOL :P
*hugs*

Oh, don't feel bad, when I feel like I don't understand something, I always get overly flustered and do dumb things too. No biggie. *hugs*

When the food's all over the floor, it's like going to a buffet instead of just 'ole sit-down dining.
