If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADEUP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

Hey, remember when we used to work at that meat-packing plant? And you had a crush on the shift leader, Stan, except I kept telling you that he was as gay as the day is long. Then one night we were both working double-shifts and we were pretty punchy by that time. Stan was making eyes at Harold, that hairy-knuckled ape who sucked up to all the management. You finally got sick of it and stuffed a bunch of foot-long sausages down your jeans, screaming, "Hey Stan, get a load a me!" I distinctly remember trying to talk you down from dancing on one of the conveyor belts, when you slipped in some spilled lard and fell into a bin of pre-cooked cocktail weenies. I guess the good thing was that you got some pretty good money from Workers' Comp after that, even though you blamed me for Stan seeing all those tiny weenies falling out of your pants as they wheeled you off to the hospital.

ah yes, those were the days...

thanks for the memories. or should I leave that song up to Connie Chung?

I'm drinking red wine. wish you were here.

Hey, you said Connie Chung, and for a minute all I could think of was Julie Chen! She sure shows off her bare shoulders a lot....

Red wine sounds tasty. I'm probably no fun tonight, though. I passed out asleep for an hour while I was trying to watch the France vs. Togo game in Spanish.

well I was no fun last night either. I put in a DVD, and fell asleep halfway into it with a full glass of red wine on the table next to me. I feel better today though...

going out to Mitsuwa today. nothing else happening. call me if you're bored.

Remember that time we went on a road trip to see Mount Rushmore and we heard the music from "Deliverance"--you know the weird banjo riff--and we ran for our lives only to find a mountain troubador with a bad sense of direction? You remember, right? :-)

oh, of course I remember that. How could I forget that mountain troubador? he was a horrible musician - but he was kind of cute - LOL! if he hadn't been cute, I would have been really ticked off that he got us even more lost. I kept hearing those damned banjos in my head for weeks afterwards. I would wake up screaming and imagining terrible things. I think I'm better now, but I can't watch "Deliverance" anymore.

ah, thanks for the memories...

Hey girl. We need to go fishing again, real soon. I've never fished with anyone who caught as many weird things as you do. Especially the boxer shorts. Hee! Sadly, we didn't catch the naked men that went with the boxers. Maybe next time.

hee - yes we do need to go fishing again. I was really on a roll that day catching everything that wasn't a fish! remember the bag of unopened potato chips? and the ring that we thought was a diamond, but turned out to be just one of those cheapies from the gumball machines... the best thing was the woman's bustier though. that must have gone with the men's boxer shorts. great story there...

let's make a plan soon!

Dont you remember when I came to Chicago from London and helped you sort out that 'problem' you were having? what can I say im a solutions girl and then you came to London and we stalked out Jake G who was filming here and he fell in love with us both and we ended up fighting over him and Oh he was so torn!!! in the end we decided to be friends and dump Jake...... he has never recovered!! le sigh!!

yes, I was so thankful that you could come over here and offer your "help." and your solution really worked - even though it still hurts when I walk...

oh, yes, poor Jake. we really broke his heart. he's such a sensive guy - *sigh*

but our friendship was so much more important. it is too bad we couldn't share Jake, though. you could take him for three days, and I could have him for four. but who would get weekends?

Oh yes and the 'solution'... well.......

heehee!!!!

I'm still thinking...

how 'bout "star share" - too boring?

"sex trade"? - no too risque.

well, we will think of something I'm sure...

Remember the time that we went to see Cillian on the set of Batman Begins and he gave us a private tour and autographs and then you took that silver pen from his dressing room? I hope he didn't notice! Do you still sleep with it under your pillow?

posted by [identity profile] laurainlimbo.livejournal.com at 01:17am on 28/06/2006
oh, yea I remember that... how could I forget? he was wearing blue jeans and a blue sweater, and he was so sweet. I took his pen, and also snagged a water bottle that he'd been drinking from. I not only sleep with that pen under my pillow, but it goes with me everywhere - around my neck on a chain. *sigh*

love him!!
