haha I totally agree with you about the ending, in fact I dont' even remember what she said after "these are memoirs of a different kind..." - I was just ready for it to be all finished. I love that lead actress, and I do love the two Japanese actors in that film, but it was a waste of all of their talents. it was such a pretty film, though, because Japan is a beautiful place. I thought that the story about the other geisha was so sad, though - after the fire, she had nowhere to go. she was a bitch, but she was a person. *sigh*

that's sweet you thought of me when you saw the cherry blossoms. I do love them!!
