it's not life that matters but the journey...

I have an explanation for my little bit of angst the other day. PMS! Why does my little friend come to visit me so unexpectedly these days? I guess that can be attributed to so many things, and of course it explains why I was so emotional and lonely. Well, that and the fact that I hardly see my husband who is doing the typical Japanese salary man thing and working 12-13 hour days! *sigh* somehow I never pictured myself being a "Japanese wife" but that's what I am now.

It's hard to believe it's almost the weekend again. Time flies when you're buried in the stress of daily living. We've applied for the apartment we want and are waiting for approval. Then all depends on how easily we can get out of our current "lease from hell." Hopefully by the start of next week, everything will be on the upward...

finally got my roll of film to the drugstore yesterday but didn't go today to pick it up. too tired. I want my own car, dammit! Once we get our apartment all finalized, then we are buying car #2, so that will be very nice - and more money to pay for insurance. yay!

That's all my news for now. I won't even promise any movie reviews because I'm too busy to think about what I've watched lately. When life slows to a nice, humdrum pace, I will get back to creative things again.
