oh, one more thing I forgot. Has anyone downloaded the program from netflix to watch movies on your PC? Last night I wanted to watch the finale to Dexter Season 1 - it's on a separate disk, and I watched the second to last episode last night and just didn't want to wait for the next DVD. So I clicked play and it told me I would have to download Netflix movie player. No problem right? So I decided to do it. I wasn't able to find a download anywhere,so I thought, great, I can watch it free from Netflix! It even said it would only take like a minute. So I started to do it and it told me I needed some upgrade to Windows media player. No problem right? WRONG! I started getting all these popups from my spyware program, and that froze the whole thing. But it seemed to be downloading something, so I waited. I waited like 30 minutes while my computer told me it was downloading some new version of Windows Media player (version 11), and then it restarted the system. I thought i was home free! I went to netflix again, pushed play to watch Dexter, and it even started to play - yay! and then the whole thing froze AGAIN and said I need 3 GB of available space on my computer and the ability to write on the hard drive. what the hell?? I obviously don't have that much free space, but really, I'm just trying to watch a movie. I watch tv shows and movies all the time with real player. So are they saying I need a really nice fancy computer to watch movies from Netflix? They're not even charging for their stupid player, so what's the deal? I'm so mad. Has anyone had this problem? I'm considering writing to Netflix and complaining that they don't warn anyone with a slow or old computer that watching movies with their stupid system will be impossible.
