it's not life that matters but the journey...

It's the end of another weekend. Already the second week of October is gone - how does it go so fast? We had an absolutely gorgeous weekend, weather-wise. The sky was clear blue, cloud-free - the temperature yesterday was a bit warmer, but today it was crisp and a bit breezy and it felt like fall. I tried taking some pictures of the pretty colorful trees in my neighborhood, but they didn't turn out well, so as long as the weather is the same tomorrow, I'll go out on my lunch break and try again.

I thought I'd share some things that made me laugh this weekend. First, the cat video - I know probably everyone has seen this, but I just found it when I was looking at another video, and I had to post it here to give you all a laugh. I think we all need a good laugh.



And then, I don't know how many of you are familiar with the comedian Steven Wright - he was pretty famous back in the '80s for his very cerebral wit, which is done with emotionless, dead-pan delivery. Here's a funny clip from one of his shows:
