My boss has been gone for a week. He's coming back tomorrow and there's already some problems that i have to discuss with him. Tomorrow will not be a relaxing day. Ugh!
But on a more positive note, today's writer's block is interesting:
LiveJournal is turning 10 and we're feeling nostalgic. What was your first LJ post about?
I could say what it was about, but I'd rather do what I saw
linds_sunshine7 do, that is link you to my very first LJ post, which was in April of 2005 when I first got to Japan (the second time I lived there) and was living in my husband's parents' house.
so here it is
If you're interested in any of my other posts from Japan, let me know and I can link you to some of my favorites. I did that for
wolfpurplemoon and she was kind enough to say she enjoyed them. yay!
Before I go and sleep, I have a question for anyone who uses Photobucket: why would they randomly delete a picture of Star Trek that I uploaded to the site that I use for my actor community? I have two photobucket sites - one I use for personal pictures, and another I use for just pictures of actors and characters from movies and tv shows that I post on my community
thedailyactor. I found the picture (which is of Kirk, Spock and McCoy from a Star Trek episode), when I did a google search - it was on someone's blog. So what the heck? Is it copyright protected or something? When I logged into my account today, instead of my picture being there, they had a little box, with a note stating that the picture was deleted because it violated their "terms and conditions." Since when?? Has this happened to anyone with Photobucket??

I had a photo deleted from there too - it was of a raunchy young man. Nothing too dubious, I thought. You certainly couldn't see anything! I think some of the Mods are much too keen.

I can definitely find some more Japan posts for you and send you links - probably I can do that tonight.
the funny thing about photobucket is that the picture they deleted from my account was just from Star Trek - so maybe it was a copyright issue? but I'd copied it from someone's blog, so it can't be a protected image. weird! are they really that strict about raunchy pictures? that's crazy!

Well...kinda busy myself and so on, no (almost) updates here, but I bet I miss doing those Writer's Block from LJ. I guess I've been missing a few stuff around as you see, hehehe!! Of course I'm still here, reading my friends page and so one...

I love your post from Japan.
I am not sure about the photobucket thing, I have never had them take down one of my pictures, sorry...

I've never lost a picture on photobucket, so I can be of no help there.

the funny thing is, this photobucket site is one I use for just actors, so I have no idea why they'd mark a picture from Star Trek as something against their policies - all I can think of is the copyright issue.
