Time off always goes far too quickly! It's already mid-afternoon the day before I go back to work, though I feel better for having 4 days off!

If you hadn't said what those graves were I would have thought they were in a military cemetery from the war, it's a little too neat.

The cherry blossom tree in my Dad's garden always loses its petals in just a few days it seems, it's in flower now but the weather's been rather windy so I'm sure they will all be on the ground soon! Also it's a rather pitiful specimen in comparison to those in your photos!

it went amazingly quickly - I'm not sure why. but anyway, I went back to work today and it was okay. I only have one more day, and then the weekend again!

yes those graves do look just like military cemeteries. I think they modeled them after that idea - very uniform and precise. and yes, too neat for sure. creepy if you ask me.

that's nice your dad has a cherry blossom tree though, even if it's small. they're so pretty!

Dad's cherry blossom tree isn't small, about 10 foot tall maybe, but he tends to cut the branches quite severely so it'll never reach the beauty of trees near you!

oh sorry - I misinterpreted what you said. i don't know why I thought you said small:) anyway, you should encourage him to let the tree go and see if the blossoms are more brilliant next year:)
